Abuja - Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has described the late Ken Atsuwete as a defender of the defenseless, voice of the voiceless and a man of God.
Director-General of Nigerian Maritime, Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr Dakuku Peterside, conveyed the minister’s condolence message at the funeral service for the late legal practitioner, human rights activist and pastor.
He was killed in Port Harcourt late August. Unknown assailants gunned him down.

“Ken served the Lord faithfully, he will live in glory,” said Amaechi.
“We should not be mourning, we should be grateful that he impacted on this world within his short time in life. He was a man who believed in a cause and fought doggedly till death.”
