Anger follows as EFCC threatens to kill Fani Kayode

Abuja - An operative of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission has threatened to kill Fani Kayode, who is in police custody for his 17 count charge, Naij reported.

The operative named, Suleman Kabiru, said to Kayode "I will kill you, you infidel" while he was reading his bible in court.

Kayode is facing a 17 count charge bordering on unlawful retention, use and payment of money in the tune of N4,9 million during the campaign of former president, Goodluck Jonathan.

Social media erupted after the officer threatened to kill Kayode.

News24 reports that Kayode was assaulted by the same officer for praying while in custody.
