Abuja - State governors from the All Progressives Congress after meeting President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa have vowed to do all within their power to remove Senator Ike Ekweremadu as Deputy President of the Senate, Punch reports.
Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum, Rochas Okorocha told State House correspondents that the governors had chosen to intervene in the National Assembly crisis.

After receiving permission from President Buhari, the APC elected governors will now seek to remove the Peoples Democratic Party elected Ekweremadu as Deputy President from the Senate.
Okorocha is alleged to have stated that Ekweremadu should get ready to vacate his seat.
