Abuja - The Edo State chapter of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended State Vice Chairman, Gentleman
Amegor, for alleged anti-party activities.
The party said its decision was reached at a meeting held
on Tuesday when the leaders lamented the alleged lacklustre leadership of the
party at the Senatorial District.
"It was observed that the State Vice Chairman and Senatorial leader, Barr Gentleman Amegor
failed woefully in implementing the laudable objectives contained in the
party’s constitution,” APC stated.
It added that the allegations levelled against Amegor
included failure to convene regular meetings of the zone to discuss and resolve
issues affecting the development of the party.
