Osun - The Osun state government on Wednesday placed a series of vacancy advertisements at the state’s hospitals for interested doctors, Punch reports.
The advertisement was aired on the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation.
This is coming as state doctors refused to resume work after the state governor, Rauf Aregbesola threatened to sack them for embarking on strike since September 28, 2015.

The Nigeria Medical Association while reacting asked medical doctors in the country to ignore the jobs advertised by the state government.
The state Chairman of the NMA, Dr.Suraj Ogunyemi said any doctor who appeared to be interviewed for the jobs would be penalised.
Ogunyemi said the national body of the NMA was in support of the steps being taken by its Osun State chapter, saying the association would also sanction any doctor who would sit on the panel of interviewers for the advertised jobs.
