Aregbesola urges probe into N5.8 trillion crude oil theft under Jonathan

Abuja - Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to set up a commission of inquiry into crude oil theft of N5.8 trillion under former president, Goodluck Jonathan's administration, Information Nigeria reported.

The call was made by Aregbesola after meeting with members of of the Committee of Defence of Human Rights in Osogbo.

The group has written a letter expressing that a probe must be opened on the matter and should be giving to Buhari.

Aregbesola has stated that the stole funds need to be recovered and Buhari's administration should not over look the matter.

According to Aregbesola, the president would be making a good example by not overlooking the matter.
