Abuja - Arik Air passengers were stopped from entering
Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport hall by angry aviation union members,
Over 200 passengers were directed to converge at ticket
counters even though they desperately pleaded with unionists to follow through
with their journey's.
The unionist had stationed themselves at the departure hall
after arriving early and started denying passenger’s entry.

The carrier suspended its services for the rest of the day.
Arik spokesperson, Bani Ola, stated that the unionists are
fighting a court case, demanding the airline should clear its N12,5 billion
debt owed by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
