Abuja - The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) has reiterated its claims that officials from the Nigerian Army defiled women from the sect during the Zaria massacre in December of last year.

While addressing the media, Malama Suwaibat Yunusa, female leader of the Bauchi chapter of IMN, condemned the violation of women during the massacre and confirmed that the sisters had taken to the streets to vent their frustrations over the continued incarceration of their leader.

According to Yunusa, the women were alleged stripped naked and raped before they were shot down by Army officials.

Yunusa has since described the alleged violation as the most heinous crime to happen in the history of Nigeria.
