Abuja - The 4th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Benin City, dismissed false reports that members of the brigade stomped a 20-month-old baby in Eku, Delta State, while attempting to arrest its father, Vanguard reports.
The baby, David Atori, died on the 6th of May with media reports claiming that he indeed died while security officials were attempting to arrest his father.
Representatives of the 4th Brigade said that an internal investigation into the matter had taken place and has since discovered that no such incident had taken place in the area.

The army also claimed that these allegations, was a futile attempt by the baby's mother, to blackmail the 4th Brigade.
