Abuja - The Nigerian Army has issued a response to a threat sent out by Boko Haram claiming that they plan on capturing and killing President Muhammadu Buhari, Naij reports.
In a video released by factional leader Abubakar Shekau, the terrorists threatened that members of Boko Haram are still strong in numbers and are set to capture President Buhari and kill him with their bare hands.

The Nigerian Army has responded, however, with Defense Director Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar describing the threat as an empty one as the insurgents do not have the power to attack the President.
"The issue of the threat to capture PMB is a complete joke and a dream of the century. Therefore, the entire clip should be ignored as everybody is appreciative of our feat against Boko Haram," a statement released by Abubakar revealed.
