Abuja - The Nigerian Army has made a significant arrest said to be in connection with the missing girls of Chibok, Naij has reported.
The arrest, which will be made public pending verification processes, is said to involve one of the suspected ringleaders of the Chibok girls' kidnapping.

Disclosing details of the arrest of Jarasu Shirawho, a sect leader in Borno State, Brigadier General Lucky Irabor revealed that the suspect had been apprehended during a routine operation performed by soldiers.
Brigadier Irabor stated that the identity of the accused needed to be verified before final confirmation to the media in order to avoid repeating past mistakes concerning mistaken identities.
