Army relations with India boosted

Abuja - The India Defence Services Staff College, Wellington has strengthened its relationship with the Nigeria military.

The Commandant of the college, Lieutenant General SK Gadeock, pledged to provide impetus in training, human and material resources to further accentuate the Nigerian Armed  Forces as the strongest in West Africa.

Gadeock gave the assurance during a courtesy visit on the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Gabriel Olonisakin in his office at Defence Headquarters, Abuja.

He assured Nigerian Armed Forces of continuous intelligence sharing and defence cooperation to further strengthen the ties that existed between the Armed Forces of the two nations.

Gadeock also enjoined the Nigeria Armed Forces to continue to showcase  a stern attitude and high standard. 

He encouraged them to pass the legacy on to the younger generation.

The Nigeria the Chief of Defence Staff acknowledged the long standing relations that existed between the two nations and affirmed that these had been beneficial to Nigerian Armed Forces. 

He expressed his optimism of stronger ties with the India Military College.
