Abuja - The Federal High Court sitting in Jos, Plateau State has issued a bench warrant against former Governor of Gombe State, Danjuma Goje, for failure to show up in court on Tuesday.
The warrant is however to take effect by Wednesday morning if he fails to appear in court again.
It could not be ascertained why he could not appear in court to answer to fraud charges the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is leveling against him.

He is to be arraigned for alleged corruption.
It is alleged he improperly awarded a N1 billion contract for the purchase of dictionaries for schools.
Goje was Governor of from 2003-11.
He was expelled from the All Progressives Congress in 2015.
