Asaba - Commercial sex workers in Asaba, Delta state have increased their charges and warned their customers, who would not comply with the new tariff, to steer clear of them, Punch reports.
There was however confusion on Saturday at the popular cable point base of commercial sex workers in Asaba, Delta State when some of them attacked their customers over unpaid bills.
A round of sex which used to cost N1 000 has been increased to N2 000 while a night often called ‘Day Break’ which used to be N5 000 was increased to N8 000; a situation the victims on the fateful Saturday failed to comply with, resulting in the allegedly attack by the commercial sex workers according to an eyewitness, Ngozi Njeh.

Trouble started when the victims during nightfall entered into one of the brothels to satisfy their sexual desires. Contrary to the claim by the victims that they were not aware of the increased charges, one of the commercial sex workers, Anabel Onweh, said the victims agreed to pay N8,000.00 each but only gave them N4 000.
Investigation revealed that the victims were beaten before policemen A-Division came to their rescue.
