Abuja - Chief Ebenezer Babatope, a Board of Trustees member for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has warned against probing former President Goodluck Jonathan in relation to the arms scandal, Punch reports.
According to Babatope, an investigation into Jonathan's dealings would be a mere exercise in futility due to him having done nothing to warrant a probe.

Babatope's comments fall among several calls for probing into Jonathan's dealings during his tenure, with the latest coming from Apostle Alexander Bamgbola, Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
According to Bamgbola, Buhari's fight against corruption should be encouraged, while looters should be prosecuted as a result of their dealings.
Babatope has since kicked back against the anti-graft war, claiming that it is based on a vendetta against the PDP.
