MASSOB’s factional leader,Uchenna Madu, who made the appeal on Tuesday in Owerri, said the detained members of the group had done nothing wrong and should be released unconditionally.

Madu also accused the ousted leader of the group, Ralph Uwazuruike of plotting to attack its secretariat in order to restore himself as the group’s leader.

He warned Uwazuruike to forget the plan as members will resist such attempts.
