Abuja – Boko Haram has reportedly moved to establish a new base in Taraba after losing territories in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states, deputy senate minority leader, Emmanuel Bwacha has reportedly said.
According to Naij, Bwacha, a senator representing Taraba South senatorial district, raised alarm that silent killings had been recorded in the state and that they were being perpetrated by the insurgents.
"Following the successes recorded by the military in the three North Eastern states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe, the insurgents are beginning to relocate and they are finding themselves, a new haven in Taraba state.
"It is very clear, by the massive movement of strange people into the state, across all the local government areas, in fact the highlights of those areas are there," Bwacha was quoted as saying.
Bwacha called on security operatives to move in swiftly and help the situation.
