Abuja - Botswana and Burkina Faso have assured Nigeria of their support as the country fights the Boko Haram terror group.
Botswana High Commissioner, Myron Bonang, and his Burkinabe counterpart, Piable Firmin, gave the assurance on a visit to Nigeria Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

They commended and appreciated the efforts of the personnel of the Force in the fight against terrorism and extremism in the country.
The envoys assured Idris of maximum co-operation in tackling the menace of terrorism and other serious crimes in Nigeria.
Idriss appreciated the visit by the emissaries and expressed gratitude to the cordial relationships existing between Nigeria, the two countries and other African countries.
