Ekiti - Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, on Thursday stormed Zenith Bank in Ado Ekiti to withdraw money from his bank accounts earlier frozen by the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission, Punch reports.
His action followed the judgment of a Federal High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti which ordered the bank to immediately unfreeze the accounts after condemning the action of the EFCC.
The Zenith Bank has again denied sponsoring the governorship campaign of Gov Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State in 2014 according to News24.
Fayose had claimed that his campaign was funded by the bank and a few private individuals.
The bank had earlier denied Fayose's claim but later went to beg him.
