Abuja - The National Assembly has taken a swipe over executives due to the delay in preparation for the 2017 budget, Punch reported.
The Senate at the Upper Chamber heavily criticised the Minister of Budget and National Planning for not sending out the proposed 2017 budget to the National Assembly.

Senator Udo Udoma has come out stating that lawmakers have failed to give the 2017 to 2019 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy.
This has stalled the ministry's plan to present the budget before the National Assembly.
