Abuja - Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has claimed that the Federal Government is overbearing, having too much power and resource at its disposal.
According to a Naij report, the Governor insisted that some states in the nation were under-developed due to constant interference from the Federal Government, which he claimed was putting a hamper on the pace of progress.
While addressing the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC), Wike noted that the Buhari-led administration had turned against local governments, slowing down development instead of acting as an ally in areas of concern.

Wike said that Chief Security Officers (CSOs) should no longer be looked at as such and should instead be labelled as Chief Logistic Officers (CLOs) due to the role that they had been forced to take up due to constant meddling from those in power.
The development followed on from a warning issued by Wike a few days ago, stating that he would be seeking legal advise against the police and Department of State Security (DSS) due to their sealing off of the Sharks Stadium, a separate Naij report confirms.
