Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, reports The Cable
The meeting, which used to hold weekly since 1999, will now take place once in two weeks.
Buhari believes holding the meeting weekly is a surplus requirement.

The President has also said the meeting will no longer be all about awarding contracts but a serious discussion of policy issues and appraisal of ministerial performance.
FEC has been held just once since Buhari inaugurated the council on November 11.
