Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has been demanded by the
Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project to request the extradition of
former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke back to Nigeria,
Buhari has been asked to seize the opportunity whilst still
anti-corruption summit in the United Kingdom.
According to SERAP, they believe the court in the United
Kingdom did not capture all of her alleged crimes and therefore she should be
sent back to Nigeria to face her trial.

SERAP wants the United Kingdom to signal that those
extradited should will fully serve their trial and no corruption charge would
The UK government would be then given an ultimatum that if
it does not accept the request the matter will be taken to the International
Court of Justice.
