Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has, once again, failed to fulfill his promise, this time withholding specific details of his assets which he had previously vowed to make open to the public.
According to Naij, the President had previously promised to make specific details of his assets available to Nigerians after the items were verified by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).

Despite having previously published some details, such as his bank account containing N30 million before his inauguration, Presidential media aide Garba Shehu had revealed that the President would disclose more in-depth details after verification.
“As soon as the CCB is through with the process, the documents will be released to the Nigerian public and people can see for themselves,” Buhari’s media aide had said.
The Presidency has since reneged on its previous statement, saying that the President made no such promise and would not be releasing any details as a result.
