Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the mass retirement of permanent secretaries, Daily Trust reports.
The decision is coming a day before cabinet ministers are inaugurated by the president.
At least 17 permanent secretaries were relieved of their duties.

Buhari made the decision known to the permanent secretaries during a meeting in his office at the presidential villa.
At the meeting were Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari and the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
