Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has been served with an ultimatum for the release of Biafra Radio director Nnamdi Kanu, Naij reports.
Ex-militant leaders from the Niger Delta, in alliance with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), have given the Federal Government 31 days in order to release Kanu, or face consequences.
Security agencies were also not spared, with the leaders warning against interference with Kanu, who is currently detained at the Kuje Prison.

The spokesperson of the group, identified as General Ben, warned that they would commence the abduction of several expatriates should the order be dismissed.
Ben also warned that the message should not be ignored, as soldiers would not be able to stop the group.
The unnamed group further lashed out at Federal Government's approach, saying that they are marginalizing a section of the country.
