Buhari is my mentor, reveals man who named his dog after President

Abuja - Fresh out of his short stint in prison, Joachim Chinakwe Iroko, the man who named his pet dog after the President, has claimed that Muhammadu Buhari is his mentor.

According to a Naij report, Iroko revealed that he harbours no hate towards the First Citizen, but instead stated that he has named other pets after notable leaders across the world.

Oroko, a Delta resident, was recently held over his dog's name after a Ota Magistrate's Court found him guilty of causing a breach of peace.

The incident led to serious criticism being posed against President Muhammadu Buhari and the Presidency at large, who have since spoken out on the issue, stating that the incident is a laughing matter and not one to be taken seriously.
