Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday held an emergency meeting with Gov Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State
The meeting was held behind closed- doors inside the Presidential Villa, reports Cable
Mimiko arrived at the villa around 11 am, and he went straight into the president’s office.
The meeting was held in connection with nomination of Jimoh Ibrahim as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate against Eyitayo Jegede by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ibrahim belongs to a faction of the PDP led by Ali Modu Sheriff while Jegede, who is also laying claim to the PDP ticket in the state, is a member of a faction led by Ahmed Makarfi.
News 24 recalls that on Friday there was a protest in Akure over Ibrahim's candidature.
Angry supporters of Jegede stormed the streets to protest the INEC decision.
They blocked major roads and burn tyres to express their displeasure.
