Daura – President Muhamaddu Buhari has reportedly taken a short break after signing the 2016 Appropriation Bill on Friday.
The Sun reported on Saturday that Buhari was in Daura, his home town in Katsina for some time-off.
He was expected back in Abuja on Monday, the report said.
Buhari signed the Appropriation Bill yesterday, giving way for full implementation of the budget.
The record 6.06 trillion naira ($30.6 billion) budget tripled capital expenditure in Africa's top oil exporter from 2015 and aimd to stimulate an economy hit hard by the fall in global crude prices.
"This budget is a budget of faith for the Nigerian people," Buhari was quoted as saying.
