Lagos - President Muhammadu Buhari will attend the Africa 2016 Investment Forum scheduled for Egypt next month, organisers confirmed.
His attendance has been confirmed alongside that of President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon and host leader, Abdel Fateh El-Sisi.
Dr. Hazem Fahmy, the Secretary General of the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) confirmed the trio’s presence.

“We are delighted that President Ali Bongo of Gabon and President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria have accepted our invitation to attend this special forum,” said Fahmy.
The two-day meeting in Sharm el Sheikh will bring together over 800 high level government and business leaders to discuss projects and ventures across a range of sectors.
“We need greater economic engagement to accelerate trade and investment throughout Africa. We have considerable expertise and know-how in some important areas such as healthcare and logistics,” added Fahmy.
Africa 2016 will be held on February 20 to 21.
Attendance is by invitation.
