Abuja - Former External Affairs Minister and political scientist, Bolaji Akinyemi says that he sees a positive change in the body language of President Muhammadu Buhari in dealing with the happenings in the Niger Delta region, Punch reports.
Akinyemi commended President Buhari for ordering a cease-fire in the region and inviting the militants into a dialogue for the commencement of peace talks.

The former minister cited these decisions by Buhari as a changing in attitude towards conflict by the president, moving away from military interference towards peaceful negotiations.
He also added that he had a positive outlook that a peaceful solution could be found in Niger Delta with hope that an end could be brought to the continous destruction of oil installations and killings.
News24 Nigeria reported that as the Niger Delta Avengers struck again, blowing up the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC pipeline at Eleme, Rivers State, President Muhammadu Buhari insisted that Nigeria's unity was not negotiable.
