Car dealer arrested for alleged N4.6m fraud

08 December 2015, 18:02

Abuja - Lagos police have arrested a car dealer for allegedly obtaining vehicles without paying the owner.

According to a Punch report, Alhaji Amao Abdulhakeem allegedly obtained four Toyota Camry vehicles as well as several vehicle parts from Emeka Ejike, amounting to N4.6 million.

It has been alleged that the suspect provided Ejike with several cheques which subsequently bounced due to insufficient funds in the man's account.
