Abuja - A couple and their company have been arraigned at
the Federal High Court in Enugu for allegedly operating an unlicenced banking business.
Patrick and Rosemary Nwokike appeared before Justice Dugbo
Oghoghorie on a four count charge bordering on advanced fee fraud and carrying
out banking business without a valid license.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty.
Justice Oghoghorie has granted the accused, who allegedly
operate Let's Partner With You Ltd, bail in the sum of N2 million each with two
sureties in like sum.

While one of the sureties must be a civil servant with Enugu
State Government at a minimum of grade level 12, the second surety must be a landed
property owner within Enugu.
Both sureties and their properties must be verified by both
the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the defense counsel.
