Abuja - No fewer than 11 people are said to have lost their lives following an attack by suspected cultists in the Igode and Fakale communities of the Sagamu LGA of Ogun State.
According to a Punch report, hoodlums suspected to be from the Aye Confraternity went on a rampage on Wednesday morning while commemorating the group's anniversary, tagged 7/7.

Approximately 25 cultists are said to have entered Emuren in a grand finale of sorts on Thursday, wielding cutlasses and guns and targeting members of the Eiye Confraternity. Three welders were shot in the area.
The criminals are reported to have proceeded to the Fakale community, where they opened fire on a crowd in the area, killing seven people, Olisa.tv reports.
SP Muyiwa Adejobi, PR Officer for the Ogun State Police, confirmed the development, stating that clam had been restored to the area following the attack.
