#Dasukigate: EFCC seizes more properties of military officers

Abuja - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has started tracing landed properties allegedly owned by military officers being investigated in the arms procurement scam, reports NewsDay.

The offensive has paid off as the commission on Wednesday sealed houses allegedly owned by these officers.

Operatives of the Commission on Wednesday stormed different locations around Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) sealing the buildings believed to be owned by the indicted officers.

The buildings were marked with red paints in the initials “EFCC” and at other places “EFCC Keep Off” boldly written on the walls and gates of the structures.

The commission had earlier in the week sealed properties allegedly belonging to former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and a serving senior military officer, Major-General Yishau Mahmood Abubakar.

Abubakar was a former Commander of Operation Lafia Dole.
