Abuja - A senior ex-Airforce officer has returned N84 million allegedly traced to him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), reports Punch.
The ex-Airforce officer, Air Commodore O. O. Gbadebo, who was a former Director of Finance and Budget of the Nigerian Air Force, diverted the money from the account of the Airforce.
The money was part of the money budgeted for the procurement of weapons.

The money was traced to Gbadebo’s account after he confessed to the EFCC.
The commission had earlier seized houses belonging to Gbadebo and the immediate past Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu (retd.) all worth about N5bn.
About 11 Airforce officers are currently under investigation by the commission.
