Abuja - Former President, Goodluck Jonathan's detained cousin, Robert Azibaola, has urged the Lagos Federal High Court to stop the Economic Financial Crimes Court from unlawfully indicting the ex-President, Punch reported.
Azibaola's lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has stated that any attempt by the commission to make his client indict Jonathan was a violation of seection 7 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act.

Azibaola has been detained by the EFCC since March for allegedly diverting $40 million through One Plus Holdings after being awarded the contract of pipeline surveillance.
The accused expressed that the only reason he has been detained is because of being related to Jonathan.
