Abuja - Embattled former Nigerian Petroleum Resources Minister, Diezeani Alison-Madueke on Thursday appeared at the Charing Cross Police Station in London as part of the investigation into the allegation of money laundering levelled against her.

According to a report monitored on Television Continental (TVC) by our correspondent, Madueke was at the police station to honour the invitation by the authorities.

She was granted bail and ordered to return to the station on June 21.

The former Minister, who was one of the most powerful officials of former President Goodluck Jonathan's administration, was arrested by the UK National Crimes Agency, alongside four other people in October 2015.

The charges against her were looting and money laundering in the United Kingdom using a network of relatives and businessmen.
