Disguised Fulani herdsmen kill elderly man, 6 others in Kaduna

Abuja - Fulani herdsmen disguised as officers of the Army attacked communities in Kaduna State on Thursday evening, allegedly leaving seven dead in their wake.

According to a Naij report, the herdsmen were seen dressed in military regalia as they undertook attacks on Passakori, Mile One, Ungwan Misisi and Tudun Wada, killing an 85-year-old man and six others.

"It is clearly a plan of genocide against the Kaninkon people. We have no defence even from the Federal and Kaduna State Governments who have made security a top priority on its agenda," stated Waje Goska Williams, National Caretaker Chairman of the Koninkon nationality.

The military has meanwhile warned Fulani herdsmen that they are to be targeted next in the fight against terrorism and will follow in the footsteps of the largely defeated Boko Haram.
