Abuja - The Speaker of the House of
Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has expressed sadness over the death of the
Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade 1.
Dogara extended his condolences to the family of the
deceased monarch, the people of Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole.
He noted that though the late revered monarch could be
said to have lived to a ripe old age, his death was a loss to Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria as
his wise counsel could no longer be sought in matters related to moving the
