DSS constantly harrasing our members - IPOB

07 July 2016, 10:50

Abuja - The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has once again cried out against the constant harassment suffered by its people at the hands of DSS operatives and other security agents, Vanguard reports.

A statement released by IPOB claimed that innocent people were being constantly harassed and arrested by DSS agents under the guise of being IPOB members.

IPOB said that it was alarmed at the high amount of IPOB members that were missing adding that it was difficult to pinpoint exactly how many members were unaccounted for.

The organisation claims that many people were now living in fear due to the constant harassment by security agents and that the people of Biafra could not continue living like this just because they are demanding an independent Biafra.

News24 Nigeria reported that President Muhammadu Buhari declared that he will crush all agitation for the division of Nigeria by the IPOB people.

Buhari warned that it would be better for the whole country to commit mass murder than to allow Biafrans to succeed in their plans of seperation.
