Dubai properties: Boko Haram migrating to internet

28 June 2016, 18:12

Abuja - The Chief of Army Staff, COAS, Tukur Buratai claims that Boko Haram, since suffering heavy losses on the field of battle are now taking to cyber space and the internet to continue their war of terror, The Daily Post reports.

The Army Chief spoke while addressing allegations published by an online publication, that he owns properties in Dubai, in a controversy that has been now tagged as Dubai properties.

Buratai noted that the Federal Government had the situation well under control as they had already reacted to these new technological developments by the terrorist group.

He also boldly supported FG, predicting that they would trail the terrorists who have migrated to the internet and defeat them there.

Vanguard reports that the New Initiative for Credible Leadership(NICL) stated that the allegations against Buratai are unfounded saying that not all Nigerian public officers rely on their salaries or stealing from the public as Buratai was a successful farmer.
