Abuja - An Edo State native has been sentenced to 10 years jail time after he was found guilty of trafficking six girls to Burkina Faso for prostitution.
According to a Punch report the suspect, Favour Eboigbe, was arrested outside the country by officials from the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking Persons in Edo.

Eboigbe was arraigned on 12 counts for child trafficking after the girls, aged between 15 and 21 years of age, were rescued.
Despite pleading not guilty on all counts, the suspect now faces 10 years behind bars.
