Lagos - The chairman of Akoko Edo Local Government area of Edo State, Akerejola Folorunsho, was in court on a 12-count charge of criminal conspiracy running into millions of naira.
Today reported that alongside Folorunsho, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) also arraigned Enabulele Ferguson, Ogbwkhiulu Benjamin, Victor Ewelafoh, Amuda Balogun and Gadimoh Ozayesh, on the same charges.
The EFCC are accusing the sic of inflating contracts and forging documents for projects that were executed by the council.

All six have pleaded not guilty.
They were granted bail at the sum of N3 million each.
The case was adjourned until April 19.
