EEFCC seals off property of Dasuki, serving General

Kaduna -  The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has confiscated property believed to belong to former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki , reports The Nation.

Dasuki, NSA to former President Goodluck Jonathan, is at the centre of the alleged misapplication of about $2.1 billion meant for the procurement of arms.

The property include an hotel complex in the Government Reserved Area (GRA), Rabah Road, Malali and a housing estate at Sani Sami Road, within the same GRA

Property of others linked with the scandal were also confiscated by the anti-graft agency in Kaduna.

One of the property, a mighty residential duplex located at 5C, Sultan Close, is said to belong to a former Commander of Operation Lafia Dole, a Major-General Yishau Mahmood Abubakar.

When the EFCC operatives stormed the house on Sunday evening, there was a birthday party going on there, but everyone was asked to vacate the premises immediately after which it was sealed off.

A multi-million naira shopping mall, allegedly belonging to the General’s wife, was equally confiscated by the anti-graft agency.

All the confiscated property were marked with red paint with an inscription “EFCC, Keep off, under EFCC investigation.
