Abuja - The EFCC on Monday arraigned Andrew Yakubu, a former group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, on money laundering charges, Premium Times reports.
Arraigned alongside Yakubu were Jide Omokore, the chairman of Atlantic Energy Drilling Concept Limited.
Other individuals and firms charged alongside Omokore and Yakubu were Victor Briggs, Abiye Membere, David Mbanefo, Atlantic Energy Brass Development Limited and Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Limited.

A statement by the EFCC said Omokore and Yakubu were charged before Binta Murtala-Nyako at the Federal High Court Abuja on a four-count of money laundering.
News24 previously reported the arrest of Yakubu and Jide Omokore last week by the anti-graft agency.
The commission had earlier frozen Omokaore's assets before his arrest.
