Abuja - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested the immediate past Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Abdullahi Inde Dikko, reports Punch.
Dikko was arrested in connection with an alleged N42 billion fraud committed while he was in office.
Dikko according to the Nation has been on the EFCC watch list since January.
EFCC operatives on January 8, raided the residence of the ex-Customs boss.
Dikko is also being investigated over a N3bn vote spent by the NCS a few days to the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

The said cash, which was allegedly spent on the directive of the Presidency, was regarded as unjustifiably used by the Customs’ management.
Dikko, who travelled after he retired in 2015 turned himself in on Thursday.
He arrived the EFCC headquarters at about 10am and was interrogated for about eight hours.
