Lagos - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has
charged a man for swallowing $115 000 at the Murtal Muhammad International
Airport in Lagos, Punch reported.
The man was arraigned after it was discovered that he
swallowed the money in order to avoid the Nigeria Customs Service officials at

The prosecutor stated that the accused was liable to be
charged under the provisions of Section 22(a) of the Money Laundering Act.
The arraigned pleaded not guilty and will be remanded in
prison pending trial.
