Abuja - Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday quizzed Shalewa Obanikoro, the daughter of a former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, reports Punch
She was quizzed over a transaction of N800m she allegedly made.
Shalewa was grilled at the Lagos office of the EFCC for several hours alongside her mother, Moroophat.
Moroophat according to News 24 was arrested and released on Thursday.
Obanikoro’s wife reportedly sneaked into the country to clear some evidence that linked her husband and two sons to the N4.7 billion that was allegedly collected and laundered through them during the build up to Ekiti governorship election in 2014.

The former minister and two of his two son, Babajide and Gbolahan have been declared wanted by the anti-graft agency but they have remained abroad.
The EFCC swiftly seized the US passport of Shalewa to prevent her from towing the path of her father and brothers.
