Abuja - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released former presidential spokesperson, Reuben Abati, reports Premium Times
Abati himself confirmed the release on Saturday, disclosing that he was somewhere in Abuja.

He said he was released around 8pm on Friday.
Abati was arrested last week following allegations that he received N50m from the Office of the National Security Adviser for unstated reasons.
Abati claimed was disbursed to journalists during the 2015 Presidential election.
It was reported that Abati had initially agreed to return N5 million but later changed his mind.
